Rula Haddad worked as a personal banker at Wells Fargo and acquisitions manager at Sterling Investment Group before joining the team at Veterans First Mortgage. While attending college at San Diego Mesa College and UC San Diego, where she earned her B.A. in international business with a minor in accounting, she earned money in cosmetics sales and management with both Sephora and MAC. She has a passion for real estate and is so excited to be able to help Veterans and active-duty personnel with their home and lending needs.

Rula’s mother is a civilian contractor overseas and has been contracted with the military since 2007. “I have so much love and respect for military people and their families, as they have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice so much,” she says. She takes pride in helping military people, just as her mom has done over the years. She wants to build lifelong relationships with her clients and guide them through a smooth and seamless transaction as a thank you for serving our country. She considers herself a go-getter with a can-do attitude, who is detailed-oriented and takes initiative to get things done.

With a love for the outdoors, Rula spends her time off work taking a stroll through her neighborhood, going on a hike, or riding her bike near the beach. She loves to cook and is always experimenting with different foods, both savory and sweet, in the kitchen. Travel is another primary pastime for Rula. She has been to 10 different countries, and plans to explore more when she can.

Rula is multilingual in Spanish, English, Arabic, and Assyrian.
