Megan Mette has worked in the loan industry since 2013. She most recently transitioned from Wintrust to our specialty arm, Veterans First Mortgage, in 2024 in order to specialize in military loans. She attended Illinois State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration.

As a military spouse, Megan fully understands the military lifestyle – moving and the desire to buy a house so you have somewhere to call home, even if only for a couple of years. She is excited to be a part of the Veterans First team and assist clients with all of their mortgage financing needs, whether that be for purchase or refinance. With a dedication to providing the best customer service, Megan prides herself in educating clients on the process and what to expect. She is motivated to help clients achieve their dream of homeownership.

In addition to being a military wife, Megan is also a mother of two boys. When she is not at the baseball field cheering for her sons, she loves to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys staying active, especially through water sports like swimming and paddle boarding, and more recently she has taken up golf.
