Debbie Losser has been in the mortgage industry since 2003 and with Veterans First since early 2010. She has worked in both our Salt Lake City and San Diego offices, is knowledgeable in the jumbo loan VA market, and has been the top overall purchase loan officer in the company consistently, earning multiple years of Presidents Club status for her performance.

In 2019, Debbie was promoted to manager and started a new team that took the number one sales spot company-wide with record-breaking organization numbers in units, volume, and conversion. In 2022, she was promoted to serve as branch manager for our new Coronado branch.

A proud relative of several military service members, including an uncle who served in the United States Navy on the USS Roosevelt and a nephew – also in the Navy – who was deployed to the USS George Bush, Debbie has discovered her love for helping military men and women fulfill their dreams. “It’s rewarding to help Veterans and their families, young and elderly, get into owning their own home…some for the first time ever,” she says.

Because Debbie ran her own business for 15 years, she feels well equipped for her position, and excited to know that she gets to help people not only obtain a loan to buy a house but also to make sure they are set up with the right loan for their circumstances. Highly efficient and results-oriented, Debbie takes pride in her work and service to her customers. In her line of work, problem-solving is crucial, and Debbie excels at this. Her experience with the Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) program has been beneficial in servicing loans for several disabled Veterans, a specialty she looks forward to cultivating even further.

Debbie leads a very active lifestyle in addition to working diligently. She gets out on the golf course most weekends, and during the week she will work on her swing at the range and take runs to stay in shape. Cooking is another hobby and a great form of relaxation for her.
