Shauna Bywater came to Veterans First Mortgage – then Freedom Mortgage – in 1997. While she has left a few times to pursue other endeavors in the lending industry, she always seems to find us again, and we are certainly glad when she does. With her proven track record, Shauna’s clients know they’re in good hands.

A marketing major from Utah State University, Shauna finds it very rewarding to work with military members and their families. Two of her nephews were deployed to the Middle East, both of whom are now deceased, and her father was in the United States Marines during World War II at Pearl Harbor. Helping Veterans find a home is now her honor, with her family’s sacrifices in mind.

Family life is rich for Shauna. She has three children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. She is an active reader, camper, and loves to ski, whether it’s on the waters of Bear Lake or the slopes of Park City. When the snow melts and the fairways open, you can find her on the golf course.

As a five-time member of the President’s Club, Shauna’s experience and multiple referrals make her a valuable employee here at Veterans First Mortgage.
