Payton Kirkham has been working in finance and lending since 2020. Before joining the team at Veterans First Mortgage, she was with Idaho Central Credit Union, where she worked her way up from call center to teller to loan officer. Payton has experience with all facets of lending including credit, auto, RV, boat, and personal loans in addition to mortgage lending.

Payton likes working with military members and their families because they embody strength, resilience, and commitment. She appreciates being able to give back by helping them reach their goals or feel supported. “It’s fulfilling to make even a small difference for people who have sacrificed so much for others,” she says. To this end, she considers it an honor to be working at Veterans First, an organization that values integrity, compassion, and commitment to helping Veterans achieve stability and success.

Motivation, accountability, and a desire for continuous learning are the pillars of Payton’s work ethic. She takes initiative, stays organized, and strives to exceed expectations in every role she takes on. She’s driven by growth and committed to contributing to her team’s success. With her strong communication and interpersonal skills, she is an asset to the team.

Outside of work, Payton enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She’s passionate about the outdoors and finds happiness in any activity done under the sun, including golfing, hiking, camping, and paddle boarding. She also has a strong interest in fitness and, in her free time, enjoys reading a good book or catching up on the latest reality TV shows.
