Lee Camblin has been working as a loan officer in the mortgage industry for more than 20 years – over 12 of those years here with us at Veterans First Mortgage. He is able to do business across the country and has come across a wide range of scenarios that have helped him grow in the lending world, making each mortgage go more smoothly than the last.

Lee’s grandfather and some of his extended family members have served in the military, giving him the utmost respect for the men and women who’ve served our country. He thanks each member for their service and feels lucky to give back by walking military families through some of the unique challenges others simply do not have to experience.

Lee enjoys helping families realize the joy of homeownership. “There isn’t anything better than helping someone buy a home,” he says. “Whether it’s their first home or their dream home, they’re all equally as satisfying.” If there is ever a question, Lee makes himself available both in and out of the office, quickly returning phone calls and tailoring loans to best fit his clients’ needs. As a lending expert, Lee evaluates the mortgage as a solution to saving money by refinancing, consolidating debt, or home improvements.

Married with four daughters, Lee feels blessed to be able to spend time with family, camping or attending kids’ events. When free time prevails, he loves spending as much of it outside as possible, whether it’s fly-fishing on the local river, playing soccer, mountain biking, or catching a game either on TV or at the stadium.
