Army Veteran Andre Biehn has been originating loans since 2010. Before joining the team at Veterans First Mortgage, he worked with several other lending companies and gained a wealth of experience with all types of clients and programs. He was valedictorian of Fork Union Military Academy, and graduated cum laude from Sacramento State University.
Serving our country in the United States Army, Andre was primarily an infantry squad team member and a Bradley gunner in the 141st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Army Division where he received a Valorous Unit Award, a Combat Infantry Badge, two Army Commendation Medals, and three Army Achievement Medals. He also worked as a squad tactics instructor. “As a Veteran, you are part of a fraternity with others who have served,” he says, “Having that bond, I want to give back to those who have sacrificed to serve their country, and it gives me satisfaction to help them achieve their dream of home ownership.” Andre appreciates having a platform to help folks secure the biggest investment of their lives – one that provides shelter and can leave a financial legacy, not only for themselves but also their families.
Andre strives to perform at his personal best every day by being committed to the goals he has set for himself, the company, and above all, his clients. To do this, he stays productive, takes initiative, and focuses on doing what he says he’s going to do. Being a good communicator is a priority for Andre, whether that’s with co-workers, managers, or borrowers.
Most of Andre’s family lives overseas, and he has lived throughout Europe and the United States, but now considers San Diego home. In his free time, he exercises his horticultural side by maintaining a large cactus and succulent garden. He enjoys photography, travel, and studying ancient cultures. In another life, Andre was probably an archaeologist! Having played soccer for many years growing up, Andre still follows the German Bundesliga, and now is also an NBA fan.
