Before joining Veterans First Mortgage®, Alek worked for Zions Bancorporation using his bilingual skills in a call center that services multiple banks, helping both Spanish- and English-speaking customers. He has loved making the transition to a company where he can serve the people who provide him the liberty of doing what he loves on a day-to-day basis while gaining valuable experience in the lending industry.

With an uncle who served in the Air Force and a family who supported a strong upbringing, Alek was taught from a very young age the importance of working hard. “It is crucial to success,” he says, “and I am very well aware of the importance of always maintaining a hard, self-motivated work ethic.”

Born and raised in Utah, Alek comes from a large family that is continuously growing. He served an LDS mission in Bogota, Colombia, where he solidified his Spanish language skills. In 2014 he married his high school sweetheart and is loving every day of wedded bliss. Alek is an avid sports fan, enjoying both college and professional football and basketball.
