After getting his degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Abdul Abousaleh worked for Goldman Sachs for eight years, where he was awarded Best Customer Satisfaction by JD Power and Associates for three years running. He joined the ranks at Veterans First Mortgage as a loan officer in early 2026.

For Abdul, working at Veterans First allows for opportunities to help clients make one of the most important decisions of their lives. As a loan officer he is reliable, consistent, and disciplined. Abdul will use his experience and work ethic to make sure his clients are getting the right product for their needs.

When work is not taking all of his attention, Abdul enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and two daughters. They also love to travel. He is into CrossFit for exercise and loves watching basketball – he is a big Detroit Pistons fan. Abdul has a 3D printing business on the side as well. Ask him about his latest project!
