records and medals may be ordered from the National Archives by clicking on the links below. The photo above shows military
records and medals sent to one veteran by NARA at no cost. The 180 pages of military records arrived two months after
they were requested. Other records may take more or less time. Medals, badges and ribbons were not requested
but were provided by NARA anyway. They arrived four months later with appropriate numbers, clusters and palms attached
to each.
